The heart is a universal symbol that performs the function of connecting us all and too one another. The suit of hearts in a regular playing deck is not of ample consequence but still a very strong image for it to be attributed a solitaire suit, nearly a quarter of the entire deck. This maze is an optical illusion of that heart symbol, with the complexities not even close to those of the real human heart, and the metaphorical one. For those that are still not familiar with how to solve these mazes, I recommend that you try entering with the entrance arrows, and exiting with the exit arrows, see how long it takes you to solve it. Some people solve them much faster than others. Don't worry if you don't get the hang of it right away, solving mazes is an acquired skill that is sharpened with each maze that is completed, so keep at it till you are naturally having your eye solve the maze without barely thinking about it. The mind works in mysterious ways.
